Design a brand identity to include packaging design. Arbor cannabis forgoes modern farming techniques and mass production in favor of natural, organic methods to produce high quality cannabis free of toxins and metals deposited by "specialized plant foods." It was important to design an identity with supporting packaging that expressed this without using the expected cannabis leaves and green tones. Also, the design needed to compliment the eco-conscious, hemp paper lined pouch the cannabis is packaged in.
The logo is a word-mark set in an organic-esque, serif typeface with minor manipulation to the letterforms for a unique design. For the packaging design, which is also used as supporting graphics, is made of organic shapes that resemble natural occurring elements. The brand color palette is comprised of earth tones and does not contain any green tones as per the client design brief.
