My name is Matt and I love graphic design almost as much as I love drinking stale, black coffee. Playing bass and exploring L.A. with my super awesome wife are a few of my hobbies. I was in the Army for five years and served as a Military Police Investigator. I know, pretty random, right? It was an amazing experience and I had an awesome time serving alongside the most brave, amazing people I've ever met.
When I was younger, I was always drawing logos and brochures in a sketch book. I had no idea that I was actually designing, or even knew what graphic design was. When I was 16 , I finally discovered "graphic design" when I was trying to make a poster for my high school punk band, The Discount Hitmen, and stumbled across a Photoshop tutorial on the Internet.
Being from western New York, there weren't many options for me in the design industry, or even any art schools (that I could afford). So, I tracked down an old copy of Adobe Creative Suite and started teaching myself the software. Shortly after, I put together a portfolio and started designing for a sales and marketing company. After a few years, I decided I needed a formal education in design and enlisted in the Army for educational benefits. After serving in the military, I enrolled in art school and completed my AA in graphic design. I'm currently residing in sunny Los Angeles, helping my clients through creative problem solving.
